Acacia Dental was an established Dental Practice in central Bromyard, set on the border of the beautiful counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
The practice has been in existence since 1972, but after detailed patient consultation we have relocated to a purpose converted bungalow, No 1 Hatton Park, where the practice has its own car park, as well as ground floor access. The practice is now fully computerised including digital xrays.
Dental Staff; There are 2 experienced Dentists, a Dental Therapist and a Hygienist as well as a full complement of admin and clinical-support staff.
We send our laboratory work to locally registered dental technicians, who make beautiful veneers, crowns, bridges and dentures. Clients are welcome to visit the labs to assist in taking their tooth shade, form their labwork, if they are interested.
We take great pride in trying to make your visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We have created a friendly environment for the whole family.
Our primary aim is to share with you an understanding of the nature of dental disease and to work closely with you, the client, to prevent dental disease and its unfortunate long term consequences. Our secondary aim is to provide dental care of consistent quality for all patients, using the latest pain free techniques and materials in a clean and safe clinical environment.
Infection control is essential to the wellbeing of our patients and every practice member receives training in practice systems for cross infection control. We have regular staff meetings for sharing best practice for improving the care we provide patients. We comply with the General Dental Council guidelines on this very important topic. The new premises allows us, with our new decontamination suite, to optimise your care.
We like to ensure that we have happy patients, so if you have a complaint, we have a practice complaints procedure to resolve the problem quickly. Likewise, if you have a compliment, then also let us know so that we can improve that aspect to the benefit of other clients. Like all human beings we love to be told that we are appreciated!
All our dentists and clinical support staff take part in continuing professional education, exceeding the General Dental Council’s (GDC) requirements. All clinical staff and the laboratory support staff are registered with the GDC.
At your first visit you can expect us to listen to your concerns and expectations. After a thorough examination, including checking for any signs of Oral Cancer and then appropriate x-rays,we should be able to discuss treatment options that may be available and provide you with an estimate of our fees.
If treatment is indicated we shall attempt to restore optimum dental health in as few appointments as possible, followed by a proposed programme to maintain your ongoing dental health. This may include visits to our hygienist.
