Williamsburg modern dental on North 4th
Smyleee Rating
Excellent
Beam Dental Williamsburg sits on North 4th Street in the heart of Williamsburg, a few blocks from Bedford Avenue and the L-train commercial cluster. The practice runs on a modern format — digital workflow, online booking, intraoral camera screens — set up for the working-professional patient base that wants the visit to fit a busy schedule without compromising on the underlying clinical work. The day-to-day is still general dentistry; the difference is in how the office is structured around the patient experience.
Filling work covers the routine general-dentistry range. The team uses tooth-colored composite as the default material, handling single-surface and multi-surface restorations, replacement work when older fillings have failed, and the call between filling and crown when more tooth structure has been compromised. Beyond fillings, services include cleanings and exams, root canals, crowns and bridges, extractions, gum-disease screening, teeth whitening, and emergency dental care. The format includes digital impressions rather than physical mold-taking for crowns and aligners, which is faster and more comfortable than the traditional approach.
If you've put off a crown because the impression-taking step at older practices was uncomfortable, digital scanning removes that friction without changing the underlying restoration quality.
Patients searching for general dentistry in Brooklyn, NY, family dentist in Brooklyn, or general dentist near me in Brooklyn who live in Williamsburg, Greenpoint, or Bushwick often weigh modern-format practices for the operational fit with their working schedules. Beam Dental fits that pattern. The new-patient exam combines comprehensive digital radiographs, periodontal screening, and a treatment-plan review before any restorative work is scheduled. For Williamsburg residents picking a regular dental practice with a smoother visit experience, this North 4th Street office is a reasonable first appointment. If you've had recent medical changes — new medications, recent surgery, ongoing conditions — flagging them at intake matters more than patients usually expect, since several common drugs interact with routine dental work.
Beam Dental Williamsburg provides general dentistry from a North 4th Street practice — cleanings, fillings, crowns, and routine restorative care for the surrounding Williamsburg blocks.

General dentistry at Beam Dental Williamsburg covers comprehensive exams, professional cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, and decay monitoring for patients across Williamsburg.
Professional dental cleanings clear away built-up plaque and tartar, supporting healthy gums and giving the dentist a clear view for early decay.
Crowns and bridges restore damaged and missing teeth, rebuilding the strength and shape needed for comfortable everyday chewing.
Root canal treatment clears infection from inside a tooth, easing pain and preserving a natural tooth that would otherwise be lost.
Emergency dental care handles urgent issues — severe toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling — with prompt treatment to relieve pain.

Everyone is so friendly! My appointment was timely, easy, informative, and an overall really phenomenal experience. The office is managed well - and it’s bright and clean.
The dentists and hygienists are always amazing at Beam Street! I never had any issues at the Union Square location and was hoping for the same with their Williamsburg location since it is closer to my home. Unfortunately, I found their front desk staff to be rude. One of the front desk staff cancelled my appointment without telling me and rescheduled to a random time a few weeks out that I did not agree to and could not make. No phone call to consult with me, all I received was a email notification that my appointment had been changed on their end. When I called them to let them know I wouldn’t be able to make it to the new time they slotted me in for (again, this was done without even discussing what worked for me), they just said let out a sigh and said “ok” and then hung up on me and cancelled it. Usually I give people the benefit of the doubt since I can understand if someone is having a bad day, but I recognized this individual’s voice and it wasn’t the first time they were rude to me on the phone. I understand if people are not happy doing this line of work… trust me, I have worked the phones at my job too and know that customer service is incredibly difficult… but please talk to your boss/supervisor at Beam Street and ask if they can take you off phones and doing other admin work that feels more suitable? On my end, I no longer feel comfortable or safe going to the Williamsburg location and wouldn’t want other patients to feel the same.
I would highly recommend Beam St if you're looking to get teeth aligners. The staff is super friendly and supportive to work with you to achieve your goals. The pricing was also fairly reasonable compared to other places. I had struggled with cross-bite and crooked teeth all my life. I was only able to chew on one side of my mouth which had been an issue, but Beam was able help to me align my teeth, so I can have a healthy bite and confident smile.
Great experience at Beam dental with both the dentists and orthodontists! I do my regular dental cleanings here as well as my Invisalign treatment. My appointments always run smoothly and the staff are very friendly!
the dentists here are great and this complaint isn't about them, it's about the front desk team. i have been coming here for the past two years now, and i've had 2 bad encounters with the front desk. i came in yesterday for an appointment i booked 2 weeks ago approximately. when i arrived, the woman at the front desk claimed to have "called & texted me multiple times" which is not true. i do not have any missed calls or texts from the office. i did however, get an email to confirm on sunday which i did in fact confirm. she claimed to not have seen it on her end and stated "since we never heard from you, we gave your appointment away." are you joking? this isn't a hair salon, this is a medical office. what if i had an emergency? not even an apology or attempt to squeeze me in. everyone knows when you call a patient, customer, whatever, you leave a voicemail if they don't answer. she said it "depends on who called you that day" like what???? truly unacceptable and unprofessional. so i have now rescheduled my appointment for 2 weeks from now, and obviously, it seems like i will need to be calling basically everyday leading up to the appointment to confirm since they clearly have no idea what they're doing. why on earth would i need to jump through hoops to confirm a DOCTOR'S appointment? if it's scheduled, it's cause it's needed. so inconsiderate for multiple reasons, i had planned my whole day around this appointment and now i have to request yet another day off from work that is unpaid.
