Cleanings, fillings, crowns in Ballpark District
Smyleee Rating
Very Good
Denver Place Dentistry is a general-dentistry practice set up for the everyday work most patients actually need, located on 18th Street in Ballpark District. The clinic is built around the day-to-day work — not boutique marketing — and serves adults and kids in one familiar place. The shape of the practice fits patients who want a clear conversation about what's actually needed, with treatment staged around real priorities rather than a one-shot proposal on the first visit. If you're scoping a Ballpark District dental option, this is a sensible practice to put on a short list of candidates and book a first visit with.
Service coverage spans the standard general-dentistry breadth: routine cleanings and exams, tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, basic extractions, and gum-disease management. The practice also handles professional teeth whitening when patients need them, alongside the routine preventive work. Restorations lean conservative — composite material rather than amalgam — and most needs are kept in-house, with specialty referrals reserved for cases that genuinely call for them rather than offered up front.
If you want a dental home where the same team can handle a kid's first sealant, your six-month checkup, and an unplanned cracked tooth, this is the shape of practice that fits.
Cost positioning sits in the typical Denver general-dentistry range, with most major insurance plans accepted and clear pretreatment estimates before restorative work begins. Patients searching for general dentist near me in Denver, family dental practice in Denver, or preventive and restorative dentist in Denver commonly land at neighborhood practices like this one — generalists rather than narrow specialty offices. It suits families wanting consistency over many years, patients who value predictable scheduling, and anyone who'd rather have one trusted dentist see the same teeth across decades than rotate through a corporate group practice. The Ballpark District location works for patients already running errands in this part of Denver, and parking and transit access tend to be straightforward for the surrounding blocks.
Denver Place Dentistry on 18th Street in Ballpark District runs a general-dentistry practice covering cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, and basic emergency care for adults and kids for Denver families.

Dr Klein and the Tech Faith helped me with my dental crown and did a fantastic job. They have great customer service and really made me feel welcome and good about the procedure considering I get a little nervous with dental work. I recommend checking them out.
Throughout my life, I’ve gone to a family member who’s a dentist for all my dental needs, and when that dentist retired, I found myself in need of a new one and was a little anxious about that. I picked Denver Place Dentistry and am so glad I did! Dr. Klein and all of the staff were kind, considerate, and timely. Dr. Klein was thorough and communicative, which I really appreciated, and said to raise my left hand if I needed him to stop during my cleaning at any time. He was very gentle, so I didn’t ever raise my hand, but I didn’t know prior to this appointment that dentists even do that, and it’s nice to be aware of the option to stop. As a bonus, this dental office is modern and aesthetically pleasing, with nice views of downtown Denver. I left my appointment with a fresh smile, a “goodie bag” of dental supplies (including chapstick—I didn’t know dentists do that!), and another appointment scheduled for 6 months from now. I highly recommend Denver Place Dentistry and Dr. Klein!
Go here for dental care ☺️ the doctor and hygienists are great! The office manager is a delight! Everyone is so sweet 🥹 they’re very clear on everything - no surprises, very straightforward and professional.
This dental office was very helpful for some needed care as my wife and I were on a road trip and from out of town. The staff were incredibly supportive, kind and professional. Dr. Klein accessed my situation and presented a well reasoned treatment plan. The dental treatment received was first rate. No doubt, there is a great team at this office.
An Absolute Nightmare at Denver Place Dentistry I have been a patient at Denver Place Dentistry for years due to its convenient location and a strong recommendation from a family friend. However, my recent experience with their teeth brightening service was absolutely revolting and has left me both upset and disgusted. During my teeth brightening session this month, the dental assistant seemed to be having a bad day. During the process of removing the resin from my gums, she poked my gums with a sharp tool, causing significant pain and heavy bleeding. She pressed a swab to my bleeding gums without informing me until I realized something was wrong. It took several minutes for her to stop the bleeding, and I was eager to leave. As I was heading out, the receptionist reminded the dental assistant that I had paid for dental trays. Despite my gut feeling telling me to leave, I decided to get the impression done to avoid returning. The dental assistant was visibly annoyed and performed a very painful tooth impression. A couple of weeks later, I returned to pick up the trays. The receptionist handed me the kit without checking if the trays fit or opening the case. That evening at home, I opened the case and tried the bottom tray, but it did not fit; it was then I realized the bottom tray had an odd impression and appeared used, with some yellowish matter inside. The realization that I had put this disgusting tray in my mouth nearly made me sick. This whole ordeal has been deeply troubling and unacceptable. While mistakes can happen, this incident felt deliberate. The injury to my gums, the painful impression, and the used trays suggest a complete disregard for patient care and hygiene. I have waited for a call back for an explanation and have yet to receive it. Avoid Denver Place Dentistry at all costs. The lack of professionalism and basic sanitary practices is appalling, and no one should have to endure the nightmare I experienced.
