My experience at Drescher & Cohen is always a GREAT one! Dr. Drescher is extremely thorough and considerate. Communication is very important to me, so I truly appreciate him advising me about my treatment while he is working on my teeth. No one likes pain; of course Dr. Drescher is very aware of this and is quite appropriate with the local anesthesia. In addition to Dr. Drescher, I have never seen dental assistants so knowledgeable; they perform incredible duties. Also, the office staff is always welcoming. Great Service! Great Staff! Happy Clients!
I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Everything was handled smoothly, and I felt well taken care of the entire time. A special shoutout to Alejandra at the front desk. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful, setting a great tone right away. Her positive attitude and professionalism really stood out. Highly recommend this place for outstanding service!
I went to this practice when I first moved to Atlanta about 2.5 years ago. I agree that the instructions to get to the office were not clear and the parking is very expensive. However I had good interactions with the hygienists and dentists overall. However, the last visit was terrible. The hygienist was very rude and was very rough during my cleaning. She accused me of lying about my dental care at home! The dentist seemed very rushed with his exam as well. Based on the last visit, I will not be returning.
if you're looking for that family-oriented, chill vibe dental office that is accommodating and friendly, this is your place in my opinion. From my experience, this feels like a "old school" dental office just with new technology and young, smart workers. The perfect combo, to me. Not pushy people either. Highly recommend.
I liked the interactions with the dentists, but that's where it stops for me. The practice is very disorganized and not all that welcoming. My expectation is that a new dentist office will send paperwork to be filled out early and directions for how to get to the office since it is not straight forward in Colony Square. We had to call to get help finding the office. We didn't receive any paperwork until we checked in, without much of a greeting, but were immediately called back so there was no time. I would also expect them to communicate whether we wanted previous records requested. They did not. Xrays started without insurance being checked. So, it was almost expected that I would just not continue with my appointment. We all know how long you have to wait for dentist appointments, so I had to assure them I wanted a cleaning. My son and I both had cleaning experiences that were rough and rushed. Not what we're used to. Not even a month later, my bills are showing up at a family member's address. An address that has never been a previous address of mine. Basically, they wanted this bill sent quickly and googled an address. Paperwork was not filled out by me until a week or so later, so interestingly, this office chose to say that somehow I was responsible for the wrong address. Borderline impossible, since I would have also had to Google the family member to get the address. It's not worth the hassle, the lack of a welcoming environment, the parking costs, and the interactions we've had. I had hoped between the two appointments that the first day was just a bad day, but it seems that it's their norm.
