We’ve been going to University Pediatric Dentistry for about eight years, and I’ll be honest — the dentist has never been an easy experience for our family. Our kids have struggled with dental anxiety from a very young age, so appointments can be stressful for all of us. That said, every single visit reminds me why we continue to return to University Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Funny. She is not only an excellent dentist but also a truly wonderful human being. She goes above and beyond to put our children at ease and works incredibly hard to guide them through each visit with as little stress as possible. Just as importantly, she makes sure we, as parents, feel comfortable and supported. Dr. Funny has even called me after hours to talk through upcoming appointments, patiently listening to my concerns and helping us prepare. Her patience is remarkable. I’ve watched her thoughtfully adjust her approach in real time when she sensed my child wasn’t responding well, and she provides step-by-step explanations so my child always knows what to expect next. Her staff is just as exceptional. They know my children by name and are always attentive, doing everything they can to calm nerves and create a welcoming environment. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Funny and her team. Whether your family breezes through dental visits or finds them more challenging like ours, University Pediatric Dentistry is a place I would recommend again and again.

I recently took my 8-year-old son in for a cleaning and the experience was nothing short of amazing! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which immediately put both of us at ease.
