Due to the recent COVID pandemic Bordesley Village Dental Practice - Best Dental Clinic in Birmingham have had to adjust the way we work in order to protect both our patients and our staff.  We would love to open our doors to our patients and see then as we usually would however we are following national guidelines and following a staged reopening process. The treatments we offer may be different to what we were able to offer previously, however we will always try and go above and beyond to ensure you receive the best care. We have and continue to place the utmost importance on the health and safety of our staff and patients. We will ensure that in the ever changing situation we strictly adhere to the latest guidance and ensure your experience with us is as best as it can be. In the practice, infection control has always been at the forefront of our agenda however it is more important than ever given the current situation. Please be reassured that the most recent guidance will be strictly adhered to, with our shared aim being to alleviate pain and give you exceptional care. Below are some of the protocols and policies we have introduced in light of the current circumstances: ·  You will be asked COVID screening questions prior to attending the practice, then once again at the time of the appointment and your responses will be recorded ·  You will be expected to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time and asked to call the practice, a staff member will kindly show you into the reception. ·  You will be directed to the hand hygiene corner where you will sanitise your hands  ·  Staff will speak to you through a sneeze guard; tissues, bins and antibacterial gel are widely available throughout the practice ·  You will be asked to sign using your own pen and make payments in a contactless manner where possible or using a clear plastic bag with the exact change ·  You will be asked to attend the practice alone, unless given prior consent for exceptional circumstances and asked to leave your belongings in the car ·  The practice has been streamlined and deep cleaned to minimise risk as much as possible; sadly this means magazines and childrens toys are no longer available ·  Appointments are staggered in a manner that minimises your chance of meeting another patient at the practice; it is therefore imperative that you attend your appointment in a timely manner ·  Once your appointment has been completed you will be asked to leave via a separate exit which will be shown by a staff member Prior to your appointment you will receive this information verbally however we understand this may be quite a lot to take in. For this reason, it is also texted/emailed to you to make the process a little easier to follow. Please do not be alarmed when you see us all in our PPE, COVID has changed dentistry as we know it and we are doing all we can to ensure that you are receiving the best possible care in the safest way.
