About Day & Night Family Dental

Day and Night Family Dental is located at 1408 Skibo Road in the Terry Sanford area of Fayetteville — an affordable and family-focused dental practice whose name directly communicates an extended-hours care model designed to accommodate patients whose work and family schedules don't fit within standard office hours. Skibo Road is one of the primary commercial corridors through the Terry Sanford district, connecting Morganton Road to the broader southwestern Fayetteville commercial network.

Extended hours matter significantly in a military community. Active-duty service members often cannot leave base for appointments during standard business hours, and family members managing childcare and multiple job schedules face the same constraints. Day and Night's scheduling model — implied by its name — addresses that reality by making dental care available during times when most conventional practices are closed. That flexibility removes a genuine barrier to consistent care for the households who need it most.

The practice offers affordable family dental care covering the full scope of routine services: preventive examinations, professional cleanings, restorative treatments for cavities and damaged teeth, and management of dental emergencies. The affordable care focus complements the extended-hours model to make the practice accessible from both a time and a cost perspective.

Skibo Road in the Terry Sanford area is a major commercial arterial with strong visibility and accessibility from the surrounding neighborhood network. The 1408 Skibo Road address is convenient for patients from across the Terry Sanford community as well as those coming from the Morganton Road corridor. For Fayetteville families who need dental care on a schedule that works around military service and demanding work lives, Day and Night Family Dental at Skibo Road provides a meaningfully flexible option.

Extended-hours affordable family dental practice at 1408 Skibo Road in Terry Sanford Fayetteville NC, serving military and civilian families with accessible daytime and evening care.

I do not recommend coming here at all, front desk staff is rude, rather you call in or come in person! Should not be difficult to schedule an appointment, I remember this place use to be crowded back in the day now it’s a ghost town, and I’m not surprised the unprofessionalism is all I needed to see and hear to not do business here

We came in to Day and Night for walk-in emergency treatment. It was not the best experience. I have more cons than pros about our visit but I will list both: Pros: -The front desk staff were great. Kind, helpful, and answered questions I had. One who had worked both days we came in (came in Sunday and was asked to come back Monday) checked in on us as we were getting ready to leave. I appreciated that. -The dental assistant we had was also great, and good with my daughter. She explained everything she was doing and when she saw my daughter struggling, asked her what what wrong so she could do her best to fix it. She also handled literally everything from getting us set up, to sealants, to getting us a referral to a different dentist office, and did so with a smile and in a timely manner. -We were refunded immediately for the portion of work that was unable to be completed (more on that later) before we even left the office. -The hours are convenient for a lot of people, I will give them that. Cons: -We went in Sunday morning and were told that they didn't have a pediatric dentist on the weekends so we should come back Monday. Which was a pain, but at the time understandable. We ended up having to go to an urgent care center after to get an antibiotic so she could begin to get better. -Insurance stuff is a bit confusing- we were told nitrous is covered 100% by our insurance, but found out later that our insurance does not cover it at all in most cases. So I just hope I don't end up getting a bill for that. -The dentist spent very little time in the consultation but ended up with a large list of work to be done on top of the emergency we came in for (which again, not inherently bad, just surprising as we were there specifically to treat an emergent issue) -During the dental work, my daughter cried and said ow multiple times, and the dentist (Dr. Hall) kept dismissing her and saying "nothing hurts, nothing hurts" and then finally told her sternly to calm down before immediately stopping work and saying we would have to be referred out elsewhere (which, from other reviews, seems to be pretty common here). I need to clarify that she was not at all being combative- she was limp as a fish on nitrous, just anxious and tearful during the actual work (which was new for us because she has never had any dental anxiety at all before). Only half the work got completed, and did NOT include the emergent issue we came in for. -When we got home, my daughter told me she couldn't bite down. It turned out that a crown had been placed incorrectly and was completely messing up her bite. It had to be fixed by the dentist we were referred out to. Day and Night may be a good option for some, but our experience there was rough. Especially if you have children who need dental care, I would highly recommend finding a pediatric dentist who can accommodate emergency work if needed.

This visit at this off was a horrible one. For 1. They had my date of birth year 1997. I was born in 77. SMH. I put on the admission paper that I have dental anxiety and I was super scared. Then the dentist came in hit my tooth on the right side with his tool. I told him to please not hit the left side like that because that’s where my pain was. He immediately caught an attitude and said I’ll give you a minute. Then he couldn’t understand why I sat up completely off the chair. He told me the tooth needed to come out. I was horrified then. My daughter who was with me talking me through it. I said I’m going to do this. Well. The girl came in to numb my mouth with the numbing gel. She numbed the right side!!! I said hold on my pain is on the left side. I started to grab my stuff I saw that as a bad sign. I was ready to go. He came back in I told him he was on the wrong side. He tried to get mad at me. I told him never mind I was good. I’ll just get my money back and leave. I went quietly to the front crying and scared. The receptionist was getting my money back to me and he comes up there in my face and said you need to stop!! What in the world is wrong with this man is what I was thinking but what I said was you better get up out of my face. This was a horrible horrible experience. I will absolutely not be going back nor will I ever recommend them to anyone!!! Please beware. This dentistry has no patient compassion!!!!

They took care of my wife, made it easy for her to figure out coverage and had fair deductibles. High recommend for all soldier spouses.

Unfortunately there is not consistency in this office. First appointment went well left with a plan was scheduled with a different dentist totally different experience. Dentist left without patient approval and refused treatment had the hygienist hand out the referral and was then told the Dr. has decided to not do this. Dentist would not come back in to speak or clarify. In my opinion very unprofessional and was not impressed. After the first appointment was given a script for antibiotics and was told once the infection has calmed down removal would be possible, apparently this was not true. We were not given the option to speak with another provider. They had no issue taking payment before they started, I'm sure I will not see a refund. Unfortunately this was a waist of time and money. Maybe if they worked more as a team my opinion would be different.

I was visiting family in NC from Indiana when I started to experience an unbearable pain in my jaw. Being a Friday night, I wasn't sure where I could get in over a weekend. My parents found the Day and Night Family Dental. I arrived at 8am as a walk in. I was pleasantly surprised how efficient the check in process was. I was checked in, taken back, had x rays, examination, and a consultation with the doctor of the results within an hour. The staff and doctor were very sympathetic to my pain. I appreciated their compassion and comforting environment they provided.

The hygienist did a really good job. Was a walk in. Had to wait 4 hours, but I was a very happy they could see me. . I live in Lumberton, and there is no one in my area that does emergencies or walk-ins like this crowd. Well at all.

Showed up in pain with no appointment as I live on the road the majority of the time, (OTR DRIVER). Filled out the paperwork and got called back in less than 15 minutes. Got a mouth x-ray and was in the chair right away. The place was clean and the staff of ladies was as well 👌. They explained my options to me and the dentist gave his opinion on what was best. Dentist pulled 1 tooth, making sure I was numb 1st. He did a great job and I will be returning for ongoing treatment until I'm straight. All staff was very professional and courteous and made the whole experience pleasant. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a dentist 😬

I have had so much anxiety and fear around dentists for years. Dr. Salony and his assistant Jessica are the most patient, caring, and gentle I’ve ever met! It was a virtually painless appointment (I had two fillings) and they comforted and explained everything to me as they were doing it. Not to mention, they did flawless work on my fillings! I also had a deep cleaning at this appointment by Rosalie, and she too was absolutely amazing and patient with me! These three honestly care about their patients, and it shows!!! The only dentist I will see from now on!! Life changing appointment!

The employee that assisted me while I was checking in did a great job. To include the young ladies that insured that they were able to process my insurance. I did not know we had dental insurance my wife was texting me while I was sitting at the dental chair. I glad they were able to process my insurance and was able to save some money. Thank you for having an outstanding staff and to include the doctor and dental assistant. Great service and great staff. Thanks in advance. Mr. Tainatongo

I went into this clinic at 0755 as a dental emergency. My face was swollen and i was having problems seeing out my right eye. Upon getting there I filled out paperwork work I took my blood pressure and was supposed to sit in the lobby until my name was called. Well 2 hours go by asleep in my chair and someone calls my name telling me that they were waiting on my insurance company to fax them a list of my coverage. So I go back to the waiting room patiently waiting on the fax to come through Then I was called up again a short time later and the lady at the front desk being very a rude way said that my insurance website was down and that was the only way they could verify my insurance. And I quote " you can either pay out of pocket or wait until the website comes back up or we can schedule another time for you to come in." I said I would wait considering it was an emergency situation. Then while I was waiting some more I couldn't stand it anymore and called my insurance company. I had to call one number then I had to call another number took me maybe 20 minutes. My insurance representative ask if she she could speak to someone in the insurance department. Well I went up to the front desk and the lady at the front desk first ignored me then I keep asking mam I have my insurance company on the phone can you please let her speak with the insurance lady please mam please mam and she acted like that wasn't an option and then maybe after the 4th time I asked her she went and got the lady from the insurance department. So I was called back to the back desk and the lady that deals with Insurance came up still with kinda the same attitude as the lady at the front desk and then while I was trying to explain to the lady from the insurance department that I had my insurance company on the phone and she could verify my information the lady at the front desk butted I to our conversation saying to her I told him the only way to verify his insurance was from the website. Now the whole time my insurance representative assured me that she would be able to give them enough information to verify my insurance but seemed like nobody was wanting to hear it. Then the insurance lady said well I can't guarantee thats an a I surance company I didn't call them I have no way of knowing. So my representative asked if she could call them from a number they could verify as Delta insurance company. They were apprehensive about it but she agreed. Then I was directed back to the waiting room because I was in tears and they felt like it was an issue that I was talking to a really nice understanding lady that works behind the front desk. Anyways 5 minutes later all of them were being really nice to me saying we were able to verify your insurance and that I would be the next emergency case called back. God how many people came into there as a walk in idk. But I was called back and the dental assistants and the doctors were the best. Had a severe infection and needed to get three teeth pulled. like I said 5 stars to the dentist and there assistants. They were the best the most pain I had was dealing with the lady's at the front desk, not the one that sits in the desk behind the front desk 5 stars and kudos to her, because if not for her effort I would have felt a lot worse about the experience. Thank you to the dentist and the lady that was helping behind the front desk But as far as the people at the front desk and in with the insurance lady, I'd probably never ever ever go there ever again. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE LADY AT THAT BACK DESK BEHIND THE DOOR THE DENTAL ASSISTANT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE DENTIST WHICH TOOK CARE OF MY PROBLEM THANK YOU LOVE YOU
