I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lauren Bowersox and the team at Dental Associates of Atlanta. In 2016, Dr. Bowersox fitted me with dental implants and completely transformed my life. At the time, I believed restoring my smile to the way it is today was impossible, but her skill, professionalism, and dedication made it a reality. Not only did she help me regain my smile, but she also restored something even more important, my self-confidence. The impact that had on my personal and professional life cannot be overstated. What impresses me most is the long-term success of her work. Nearly 10 years later, my implants are still functioning perfectly and have required only minimal maintenance. That level of quality and craftsmanship speaks volumes about Dr. Bowersox's expertise and attention to detail. If you are considering dental implants or any restorative dental work, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lauren Bowersox. I can’t say enough great things about this dental office. I’ve been coming here for a few years and have had everything from cleanings to a couple of surgical procedures, and every experience has been excellent. Dr. Bowersox is fantastic, she’s thorough, reassuring, and always takes the time to explain everything. Jenny is just as amazing. She is so kind, gentle, and great at making you feel comfortable. They are also incredibly respectful of your time. I’m almost always seen right at my appointment time, and if they’re ever even a few minutes behind, they’re very apologetic and communicative. I’ve been seeing an orthodontist at the same time, and the difference in professionalism and overall positivity here is night and day. I’ve truly never felt more comfortable at a dentist office. Highly recommend!

Dr Bowersox and her staff are everything you want and need in a dentist!!! I had a lot of dental issues this past year and Dr Bowersox walked me through every step of the way. From calling after hours to check on me and being patient with me through every challenge. She handled it with ease and grace. She is brilliant, kind and patient and it shows through in all of her staff as well.highly recommend!!
Had two temporary crowns placed today. I felt confident of the procedure under the care of Dr Bowersox, with expert technical assistance from Jennie and Jessie. Dr Bowersox provided information to me through each step of the procedure today. I was asked about my reaction to all interventions throughout the procedure with concern for my comfort. I went to this dental office for close to 20 years, along with my entire family. For a long time we all loved it, but over the years we’ve gradually stopped going after multiple bad experiences. To be clear, I really liked the hygienist who cleaned my teeth—this review is about how the office is managed. The office repeatedly told us they were in network with our insurance. However, during my last visit, a staff member slipped and mentioned that they actually aren’t in network with anyone; they simply file claims and work to get partial reimbursement. This was frustrating because when I switched off my parents’ insurance, I called to confirm network status and was told I was in network with no caveats. Later, when my husband wanted to schedule a cleaning, they told him the same thing. Neither of us were actually in network. The last time I went, when I finally learned all of this, they told me I owed about $2,000 for cavity fillings. Before the fillings were done, I had been quoted around $300, which supposedly included a 20% buffer in case insurance didn’t cover everything. I still had the original paperwork with the quoted price, but they didn’t acknowledge it—just offered a payment plan. It was only when I started asking more detailed questions and pulled up my insurance info that they admitted they aren’t in network for anyone. After leaving that day, I called my dad and found out he had stopped going for essentially the same reason: they quoted him one price, did the work, and then charged him significantly more afterward.
