A modern, computerised and air-conditioned surgery with restful colour combinations and plants to soften the otherwise clinical cleanliness which is essential in any surgery We use a digital x-ray system which reduces the radiation compared to a conventional analog x-ray machine and only use white filling materials. Maarten Tonsbeek graduated from the dental school in Utrecht in the Netherlands in 1986 and came to England immediately after his graduation. He took over the Dental Care Centre in 1989. These yellowing food stains are called chromagens and if you drink tea, coffee, red wine and especially smoke, there are ample opportunities for these chomagens to be absorbed by the enamel. These stains can now be removed by using oxidising gels like carbamide peroxide. This penetrates the enamel and oxidises the stains.
