Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale

I would not recommend this practice. There seems to be a high staff turnover because I never see the same people working there..

Always a pleasure going to Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale. Dallas and the front of the house staff are great! Julie my hygienist is amazing.

I'm a new patient and I came in for a cleaning. Julia was amazing! She was extremely thorough and gentle during the whole process. She's detail-oriented and does a great job! They even got me in for my cleaning the same day (within two hours, actually)

This has been, without question, the most disappointing dental office experience I have ever had. The practice appears to have significant turnover, as I rarely see the same hygienist twice, making it difficult to build continuity of care. My interactions with Dr. Brittain were particularly frustrating. I found him to be dismissive, unprofessional, and lacking consideration for patient concerns. Genuinely hate that guy. The office also seems to overbook appointments. On multiple occasions, I waited more than 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before being seen. Most concerning, however, were the infection-control practices I personally observed. The bite tabs used for X-rays did not appear to be replaced between patients and were instead wiped down and reused. I have even noticed visible bite marks on some of them. This raised serious concerns for me regarding sanitation and patient safety. Overall, this practice left me feeling frustrated, undervalued, and concerned about the quality of care being provided. I would not recommend this office to friends or family or even an enemy honestly and will be seeking dental care elsewhere. Edit: I was the significant other of a former employee, so I had a unique behind-the-scenes view of how this practice operated. Having seen how things were handled internally and after personally interacting with Dr. Brittian, I can confidently say my experience only reinforced the concerns outlined in this review. Do not recommend.

From the moment I walked in, I had a great experience at Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale. I was seen on time, every team member was professional and took the time to introduce themselves, and I felt informed throughout the entire visit. The staff did an excellent job explaining each step of the process and making me feel comfortable and welcomed. It's clear that patient care and communication are priorities for this practice. The office runs efficiently, and the entire team made the experience seamless from start to finish. I left feeling confident in my treatment plan and truly appreciated the level of care and professionalism provided.

This practice is fantastic! Always person centered with great staff start to finish. I went to a different dentist for a routine cleaning since they were close to my workplace thinking it was just a cleaning and it would be no big deal, who said I had 7 cavities… I scheduled a second opinion with DOOTS and they confirmed I didn’t have a single one. Never going anywhere else again, that’s for sure! Service is NOT the same everywhere even for simple routine cleanings, don’t risk it. Stick to this practice and you’ll be sure to have a great, reliable experience every time!

I’m new to town and chose this dental office, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Everything was seamless from booking to checkout. My hygienist, Ariel, was informative, pleasant, and very thorough. I even brought my baby, and the staff kindly helped throughout, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Brittain was excellent, and the entire office runs like a well-oiled machine. The thoughtful first-time customer gift was a wonderful touch. Highly recommend!

I live 30 minutes away but this dentist and staff are well worth it! Doctor Britain is highly Skilled and his front office and dental hygienist, specifically Ariana , are top notch. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to the dentist but Ariana puts me at ease with her warm personality. She is thorough, professional, and exceeds all expectations. I am very happy with the service that I get from dentistry of old town Scottsdale.

Had a dental emergency with a loose crown and we are from out of town (Canadian snowbirds). Made an emergency appointment to come in and have it looked at. Went to the office and was met by a very pleasant lady and filled out paperwork. Was welcomed into a chair where the dental assistant and dentist looked at the loose crown. They took it off, cleaned it and recemented the crown. In and out in 15 minutes. Went to pay for it (needed to pay and submit to insurance) and was told there was no charge. I have never been to this business before but with the respect and kindness that I received their I would 100% recommend. Really great people and they did a great job.

Dentistry of Old Rown Scottsdale is a great place. The staff are very friendly. Ariel was amazing. She is the hygienist who did a deep cleaning on my teeth. She was gentle and took her time explaining the work I was needing. I get nervous when it comes to any dental procedure but Ariel was fantastic and made my visit absolutely pleasant. I highly recommend this Dentist place.
