Horrible experience. Scheduled an appointment for 7am. They didn’t tell me where to park as they knew I was a first time patient. I called the day of to see where to park. Initially it seem fine after that. Tech took x-rays, doc came in and then I sat for an hour. I got someone’s attention and asked if I was ready to go as I waited for an hour just sitting there. She said well the first appointment is 2 hours and i told her no one told me that when i was making the appointment and that would had been helpful to know. I’m not sure what dentist appointment is needed for 2 hours. All together in the office for an hour and half at this point. The “gum specialist” came in and did the cleaning. I left. Well they claim they validate parking for 2 hours and I still had to park to get out because they had me sitting for over an hour. It was a terrible experience for a new patient visit and still haven’t received the recommendation. I asked the text system to for someone to call me back last Thursday (same as my appointment). I didn’t receive a call until today which I indicated after over 5 hours waiting for a call back, asked if someone could contact me Tuesday. I received the call today. Just got a sorry, no accountability or compensation. I don’t know if I will be back. I hate to had this experience being my first time there and I heard good things.

The office was clean, organized, and ran on time, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about their patients and takes pride in providing quality care. If you’re looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive, I highly recommend this practice. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and will definitely continue coming here for my dental care.

Staff was pleasant as usual. Johnny was awesome as always.

Great place to get dental Service

All the staff that I interacted with are courteous and professional starting from the front desk. The exam rooms are clean and comfortable. Jonny is an experienced dental hygienist. He takes his time when attending to clients, answers any questions asked satisfactorily. I have and will definitely continue to recommend them.

I can’t thank Dr. Shah and her entire team enough including Johnny the hygienist! I was so nervous and anxious when I arrived, but everyone was so kind and made me feel very comfortable. I felt that I was treated with respect and care as an individual which I value. The team was also very knowledgeable and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. I would highly recommend Dr. Shah and her team to anyone with reservations or searching for a knowledgeable and caring provider. Thank you Dr. Shah!

I always have a pleasant experience at Downtown Atlanta Dentist. The staff is super polite, professional and personable and they’re very understanding. I no longer work downtown Atlanta and I live west of Atlanta about 40 to 50mins away (depending on Atlanta traffic) but I keep Downtown Atlanta Dentist as my preferred dental office because of the great care I have always received. Thank you all so much!

I truly enjoy my visits to Downtown Atlanta Dentistry. From the moment I walk in, the atmosphere feels calm, welcoming, and genuinely reassuring. The staff goes out of their way to make me feel at ease, which makes every appointment far more comfortable than expected. As a senior and a military veteran, I deeply appreciate the respect, patience, and personal care I receive—it never feels rushed or impersonal. Knowing I’m being looked after with such thoughtfulness makes a real difference. I’m grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown at every visit.

I’ve been apart of this dentistry team for over 10 years. Dr. Rogers and my hygienist Johnny are the absolute best. I’ve never been comfortable going to dentist until I became a patient here. They’ve become my family now. I love their patience, gentle performance, professionalism and top tier service.

This was my first visit to Downtown Dentistry Atlanta, and overall, I had a very good experience. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 a.m., and I was seen right on time, which I really appreciated no long wait at all. Several staff members made me feel comfortable and at ease, especially the front desk scheduling assistant with braces, Pam, and the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth. Everyone I interacted with in those roles was welcoming, patient, and professional, even while dealing with an internet outage in the area. Their ability to stay helpful under those circumstances stood out to me. That said, there are a couple of areas where I believe the experience could be improved. While I was getting my teeth cleaned, I overheard a tense interaction between staff members that felt inappropriate to occur in a patient-facing setting. Hearing a contentious exchange, especially one that seemed demeaning in tone, was uncomfortable as a patient. I think being mindful of professionalism and discretion particularly when patients are present is an important area for growth. Additionally, one staff interaction felt slightly awkward. While the staff member was friendly this is the one with the neck tattoo, the conversation felt a bit forced when my reserved demeanor didn’t match her energy. I want to share this not as criticism, but as feedback: patients communicate differently, and being quiet or soft-spoken doesn’t mean someone is disengaged or unhappy. Meeting patients where they are can go a long way in maintaining comfort. Overall, I will return because of the positive experience I had with the front desk staff and the dental hygienist, who truly made my visit worthwhile. With a little more attention to staff interactions and patient awareness, this practice has the potential to provide an even better experience.

I cannot recommend Downtown Dentistry enough! The office manager is absolute joy, welcomed me with a warm and bright smile immediately. Remembered my name and details about me! I use Johnny as my hygienist and I have never had a dentist experience that I look forward too! Johnny always remembers me and we have a great time chatting. He is efficient, painless, and gentle. My teeth and I are thankful for Downtown Dentistry!
