About Dr. Matthew Jacobsen, DMD

Dr. Matthew Jacobsen, DMD practices general dentistry at 243 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, Rhode Island — a dental practice at a professional building on Jefferson Boulevard's Norwood section that is also home to Dr. Frank Paletta, MD, a physician operating at the same 243 Jefferson Blvd address. The co-location of dental and medical practitioners at the same address reflects a professional building model where different healthcare providers share commercial space within the same building — a common arrangement in suburban professional medical parks where dental and medical tenants occupy adjacent suites. Jefferson Boulevard in the Norwood area of eastern Warwick (ZIP 02888) is a corridor with several dental practices at different addresses — 67 Jefferson Blvd hosts Dr. Liberto and the Nager/Pierce/Deshmukh group, while 222 Jefferson Blvd houses Jefferson Dental Associates, making the boulevard a notable dental destination within Warwick's Norwood section.

Dr. Jacobsen provides general dental care for adults and families in Warwick and the surrounding Kent County communities. Core services include comprehensive oral examinations, professional dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and restorative procedures — tooth-colored fillings and crown restorations — for patients across the full range of routine preventive and restorative dental maintenance. The "Jacobsen" surname carries Scandinavian heritage associations common among established New England families with 19th and 20th century immigration roots. A solo named-practitioner practice at a Jefferson Boulevard professional building offers patients the personal continuity of consistent dental relationships valued in a community where provider familiarity matters.

Patients seeking Dr. Jacobsen's dental services should confirm this is the dental practice rather than Dr. Paletta's medical practice, as both are associated with the 243 Jefferson Blvd address. Specialist dental needs point to dedicated periodontic, oral surgery, or orthodontic providers in the Warwick or Providence metro dental community accessible via Route 2 and I-95.

For Norwood and eastern Warwick patients seeking solo practitioner general dental care on Jefferson Boulevard, Dr. Matthew Jacobsen, DMD provides professional dentistry at 243 Jefferson Blvd alongside Dr. Frank Paletta's medical practice.

In my opinion, a very terrible practice. I wish I had not gotten my wisdom teeth removed by these careless people. It is more of a factory than a surgical facility.

I’ve been here a lot. Unfortunately bad eating habits, a fear of the dentists (really fearful!), putting things off to the last minute and genetically just bad oral health have ended me up here more than a few times. I had my wisdom teeth removed here when I was 17, I’ve had a few tooth extractions here and they’ve always been caring and nice, I’ve always been honest about my fear of dentists when I’ve come here and the reason I normally come back is because the hygienists and the doctors are always really nice. I definitely recommend them!

I got my wisdom teeth pulled at Dr. Jacobsen's in Warwick, RI and had a great experience. His RI office is very quiet, comfortable, and runs on time--I have never had to wait there and have even been seen early. Dr. Jacobsen's RI branch is also very flexible in terms of scheduling--I was able to get my surgery booked ONE WEEK after my consultation. Dr. Jacobsen and his staff are friendly, helpful, and reassuring. I was nervous about the whole procedure, but he and his staff were able to answer all of my questions and help me sort out my insurance information in his office and over the phone. Dr. Jacobsen is a great oral surgeon, and I highly recommend his RI office for quicker service.
