About Georgetown Smile

Georgetown Smile is located at Suite 200, 4400 MacArthur Boulevard Northwest in Washington DC's 20007 zip code — a third Georgetown-named dental practice in the broader Georgetown and far Northwest DC area, distinct from Georgetown Dental at 1605 Foxhall Road NW (ID 3086) and Georgetown Cosmetic Dentistry at 2440 M Street NW (ID 3085). MacArthur Boulevard NW is one of the residential arterials that runs through the Palisades neighborhood in far Northwest DC, following the ridge above the C&O Canal and the Potomac River toward the Maryland border.

The Palisades is one of DC's quieter residential neighborhoods — detached single-family homes, tree canopy, proximity to the Potomac River and the National Park Service trail system, and a more suburban character than the denser neighborhoods closer to downtown. A dental practice named Georgetown Smile on MacArthur Boulevard serves this upper Northwest residential base with a name that signals accessibility and the aesthetic focus implied by "smile" branding.

General dental care at Georgetown Smile covers comprehensive oral examinations, professional cleanings, restorative treatments, diagnostic imaging, and ongoing management of dental health. The MacArthur Boulevard address attracts patients from the Palisades, Foxhall, and surrounding upper Northwest DC residential communities who want a local dental practice rather than commuting into the downtown or Wisconsin Avenue corridors.

Suite 200 at 4400 MacArthur Boulevard NW is accessible from the surrounding Palisades and upper Northwest DC street network, with parking available on MacArthur Boulevard. For patients in the Palisades and upper Northwest who want a neighborhood dental practice with a Georgetown identity distinct from the M Street or Foxhall Road Georgetown dental options, Georgetown Smile at MacArthur Boulevard provides that residential-neighborhood care.

General dental practice at 4400 MacArthur Blvd NW Suite 200 in the Palisades neighborhood of far Northwest DC — distinct from Georgetown Dental and Georgetown Cosmetic Dentistry on M Street.

4.16.26 Zara was incredible. My first time having by teeth cleaned by her. She did a great job. Very personable. Explained a few things very well. I'll be back. 6.18.26 returned early due my quarterly cleanings. Excellent job.

I changed dental clinic about 6 months ago because the other one was out-of-network for my insurance. So, and this was the 2nd cleaning I was having at this clinic. The cleaning wasn’t as thorough as cleanings I’ve had at my previous dentist or even the first one I had in this outfit. I usually can tell by running my tongue over my teeth: the surface can usually feel very smooth. Not this time, the teeth in the back (my molars) are definitely not clean. I think it might be that the dental hygienist was in a rush (maybe) as it was lunch time. I’m going to have to find another place and I definitely won’t be able to wait the usual 6-months to do the next one. Feel that I need to do it asap.

This place is highly professional and very compassionate and understanding. They wiped away many years of shame and embarrassment in one visit. If you have been hesitating to go to the dentist, this place is the one for you.

I had a good experience at Georgetown Smile yesterday! The front desk staff were very friendly and professional and took a lot of time with me as a new patient! I also liked Jose the hygienist too! He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was less impressed by Dr. Peretz himself. His welcome to the practice was perfunctory and he didn’t really engage with me when I asked him about the recommendations of my previous dentist, which I had brought to share with him. He didn’t take the time to go over it in any detail, which I was honestly expecting. Getting crowns is a big expense and I would have liked a little more discussion. He quickly said that he could do it for much less money than my previous dentist, but he didn’t specify the pricing, which I would have appreciated. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience but not thrilled. However, since the practice is in network for my insurance, that’s very important.
