KC Family Dental

I had a great experience with KC Family Dental until today. I had been a patient for several years with no history of cancellations, but I will not be returning. I called to reschedule today’s appointment because I was actively vomiting. I was told I should still come in because “the girls in the back” are well protected and would not mind if I was sick. When I repeated that I was actively vomiting, I was told they could accommodate me with breaks if needed. I chose to cancel and was told I would have to pay a $100 fee before I could reschedule. While I was still speaking with the office, I immediately received a text requesting payment. I understand having a cancellation policy, and I paid the fee immediately. What I cannot accept is a policy being applied in a way that encourages actively sick patients to enter a healthcare office. Even if the clinical staff is protected, the administrative staff and other patients may still be exposed. I no longer feel safe receiving care in an office where sick patients are told to attend rather than reschedule. After years of coming to this office, I expected to be treated as a valued patient, not simply as a cancellation fee.

I have been going to KC Family Dental for about eight years now and I absolutely love it here! The doctors and dental hygienists are so kind and always take the time to inform patients and make sure they are comfortable. My whole family has had nothing but a great experience at this office.

This has been the best dentist I’ve had. Even after moving to the other side of the metro I still make the drive here because they are kind and considerate of my dental anxiety. No issues with insurance, nice office and comfortable chairs for a larger person. Shout out to Asha for always being upbeat and friendly 💖

100 STARS! Absolutely superb! Dr. Sarah Brent, Asha and the entire team are excellent. There are many things I noticed about KC Family Dental that I think sets them apart. First, just how nice everyone is. Secondly, the place is clean, like super clean, even the bathrooms are clean, and that tells you all you need to know. And finally, they do outstanding work. I highly recommend.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist! I hadn’t been to the dentist for a couple years so I was very nervous for my appointment. Every single staff member was extremely kind and reassuring. The hygienist was very thorough and explained everything before doing it. The dentist was super professional and took her time, making sure to answer any questions I had. 10/10 experience.

Just a wonderful experience every time here, and not everyone will say that for a dentist's office I figure. Been a regular for several years and will never change as long as I am in the area! Extremely professional and courteous front office admin, hygienists are always amazing at ensuring regular cleaning and tips to go along. Dr. Brent is amazing and has a great demeanor to put you at ease. They have kept up with technical trends too and online appointment scheduling and changes are so quick to be accommodate when necessary. Love being their patient though I hope I do t see them more than the twice a year I do now!

Dr. Brent and the entire KC Family Dental staff are the best! The practice is equipped with advanced technology and treatments, which is always reassuring as a patient! The entire staff is very welcoming and professional. Dr. Brent is extremely knowledgeable and has a warm bedside presence that puts you at ease. If you’re looking for a dental practice with a knowledgeable and compassionate staff, this is your place. ☺️
