Lee Family Dental

Made an appointment for my twice yearly check up. I took off work early to go with my family. They, after I filled out all my paperwork, said they were going to do an X-ray. I declined, and they refused to see me because I didn't want the X-ray.

We were scheduled for an appointment at 3:00; we waited 25 minutes and then left. So far, we have a negative impression of the clinic.

Lee Family Dental is an excellent choice for the whole family. I had a tooth fall apart over a weekend, and when I contacted Dr. Lee, he made an exception to see me on a Sunday. I ended up needing a root canal that same day, and the work was excellent. His office reminds me of the dentists I went to as a kid comfortable, straightforward, and without all the modern gimmicks, but with truly high-quality care. Dr. Lee is very precise and focused in his work, using specialized tools with a level of care and attention that really stands out. There’s a calm, confident, almost master-craftsman quality to how he works that immediately puts you at ease. I also really appreciate their honesty and fairness. On one visit, I thought I had a dental emergency, but it turned out nothing was actually wrong. They checked everything thoroughly and didn’t charge me. I’ve recommended Lee Family Dental to others as well, and a friend of mine now goes here after having problems with other dentists. He’s very happy with the care and feels they genuinely work with people and their budgets. I’ve stuck with Dr. Lee ever since and highly recommend Lee Family Dental.

As a continuing patient of Dr. Lee’s for over 2+ years and literally seeing him today, 12/30, my opinion of his excellent dental work and kindness has only grown. I have zero bias nor ties to him nor his practice so there’s nothing for me to gain here. I’m simply stating that at 55 years old and having seen many dentists across New Jersey, Dallas, TX and the Seattle/Vancouver area in my lifetime, Dr. Lee is A+ as is his wonderful staff led by Laura in the office and his very professional and friendly Dental Assistant/Hygienist. There’s nothing fun about sitting in a dentist’s chair and waiting for the fun to begin. I was quite surprised that “LUXPDX” had such negative reviews of Dr. Lee UNTIL I read the rest of his so-called reviews of other businesses that are all negative reviews. That leads me to believe that they’re not honest reviews and is why I reported it and felt compelled to write this. Mind you, I’m writing this about an hour after he extracted 4 molars. None of them were extremely painful upon extraction…Not fun but nothing any normal person couldn’t bare. Bottom line is, he’s a good dentist doing a tough job with a supportive and flexible office staff. I wouldn’t put much, if not any value whatsoever on someone who appears to only opine negatively about everything. Even In-And-Out Burger? C’mon. Sure, you might have waited in line at the drive thru in Ridgefield for an hour, but those burgers and fries are good! I’ve been seeing Dr. Lee for over a year now and both him and his office manager, Laura, are simply kind and professional. Besides all the standard things you’d expect from any dentist, they are easy to get in touch with, quick to reply, always follow up and overall, they make going to the dentist just a bit nicer overall. That’s the difference really, and I can honestly say that after having seen numerous dentists over the past 53 years on earth. Highly recommend!

A huge mistake going to this dentist. Went to get a tooth capped that I knew I needed, the dentist talked me into getting two. I'm sorry I put my trust into this dentist. I didn't need that second tooth capped. I should have realized something when the office attendant said they were surprised my insurance approved the second cap because it was only a stain on a back mollar that no one could see anyway. The cap on the back mollar, something that I didn't need, caused so much tension and discomfort in my jaw. My bite has never been the same and still feel the tension. My front teeth are pushing inward because of the shiftting. I went to another dentist to get fixed and he asked me how much pain could I live with? In my opinion this dentist suggests work that is not needed. He also got my lip pretty good with a sharp pick tool, so he's also clumsy. I wouldn't take a dog to this guy. It's funny reading the other reviews.. The owner only responds to people who have nice things to say. That says a lot right there. I live nearby and drive by daily, see his brand new sportscar and wonder how many unnecessary procedures have been done on trusting patients.

I had a Dental emergency 2 years ago right before christmas. Everywhere I called could not get me in until January. My husband called Lee Family Dental, and they took me in that day. I had my bad tooth extracted and was able to enjoy my christmas with out tooth pain. Been going there ever since. Dr. Lee and Staff is always friendly and efficient.

Lee family dental care about their patients so much. When you come into their office they make you feel like family more than just a person coming in to get their teeth fixed. Their staff is very caring and amazing and the doctor is very compassionate for his patients as well. I am never going to any other dentist this is the dentist for me and my family.
