About Long Beach Dental Group

Long Beach Dental Group on Redondo Avenue in the Rose Park South neighborhood is a general-dentistry practice serving the central-east Long Beach residential corridor between downtown and the eastern beach communities. The "Group" framing reflects a multi-doctor structure that provides more scheduling flexibility than a single-dentist office can typically offer. The clinic covers the standard family-dentistry scope in-house — cleanings, exams, fillings, crowns, root canals, basic extractions, and gum care — for households across the Rose Park area.

Patients searching for a dentist accepting new patients in Long Beach, CA, a family dentist in Long Beach, or a family dental practice in Long Beach can find a complete generalist program here, including cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, basic extractions, and gum-disease treatment. The multi-doctor model means appointment availability is broader than at solo practices, useful for households juggling multiple work and school calendars.

If you live in Rose Park South, near Redondo Avenue, or in the broader central-east Long Beach residential corridor and want a multi-doctor practice rather than a solo office, Long Beach Dental Group is a sensible starting point.

Pricing here lands in the standard range for an established central-east Long Beach general practice — most major insurance plans are accepted, treatment estimates are walked through before any procedure begins, and the multi-doctor structure keeps general-dentistry pricing in the typical insurance-accepted range. For central-east Long Beach families anchoring their dental care, this practice belongs on the shortlist alongside other established Redondo Avenue generalists. New patients can usually be fit into a first-cleaning visit within a couple of weeks rather than long backlogs, and the office is set up for direct insurance billing rather than reimbursement-only paperwork. Office hours typically include early-morning and end-of-day appointment slots that fit working family schedules, and new-patient intake usually fits into a first-cleaning visit within a couple of weeks. New-patient intake typically fits into a first-cleaning slot within a couple of weeks, and the office handles coordinated household scheduling so multiple family members can stack their visits on the same trip rather than scattering across the week.

Long Beach Dental Group on Redondo Avenue in the Rose Park South neighborhood provides general and family dental care — cleanings, fillings, crowns, and routine restorative work — for central-east Long Beach households.

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest experience. This office appears to have its own interpretation of insurance billing, and billing “errors” consistently seem to work against the patient. When I calmly requested an itemized bill, I was given a handwritten note instead of proper documentation. After I pointed out a billing mistake (~$400 overcharge), it took them over a month to issue a refund. After completing a procedure with a specialist, I returned expecting them to finish the necessary follow-up work, as planned. Instead, I was only informed after calling multiple times that "they were no longer comfortable seeing me as a patient." They never proactively notified me, did not provide any explanation for this decision, and also claimed to have lost my file. This left me in a difficult medical situation with a tooth missing from my mouth and no continuity of care. When I told the specialist about what just happened, he was speechless. When I tried to file grievance with my insurance, I was told that this dental office blatantly declined to provide any information to the insurance company. That should tell you enough about this business. Patients deserve transparent billing, proper record-keeping, clear communication, and basic professionalism. Unfortunately, this office failed on all counts.
