About Oso Pediatric Dentistry

Oso Pediatric Dentistry on West Gonzales Road in the Fremont North neighborhood is a north Oxnard pediatric-only dental practice serving children from infancy through their teen years. Run as a named-owner office rather than a chain location, the practice covers the standard pediatric scope in-house — cleanings, sealants, fillings, and pediatric emergency care — with most appointments being routine recall visits for existing north Oxnard families. The named-owner model keeps continuity of provider so kids see the same dentist across visits rather than rotating between chain staffing.

Parents searching for pediatric dental sealants and fluoride in Oxnard, a child dentist near Oxnard with sedation options, or an affordable pediatric dentist in Oxnard, CA can find a complete pediatric program here, including cleanings, sealants and fluoride, restorative fillings, and pediatric emergency care for kids — all handled within a kid-friendly environment built around making children comfortable. The team also coordinates sedation discussions for nervous patients or younger kids who need longer restorative visits.

If your child has been nervous about previous dental visits or is heading into a first restorative case and you want a north Oxnard pediatric office that walks through sedation options carefully rather than skipping the conversation, Oso is a sensible Fremont North starting point.

Cost-wise, Oso Pediatric Dentistry runs in the standard range for a Ventura County pediatric practice — most major insurance plans are accepted including pediatric coverage typical for Oxnard families, sedation options are typically billed as add-ons when used, and treatment estimates for restorative work are walked through with parents before any procedure begins. For north Oxnard families anchoring their children's dental care, this practice belongs on the shortlist of established West Gonzales pediatric offices serving the area. Office hours typically include after-school appointment slots that fit kid schedules, and the pediatric-only environment keeps wait-room dynamics calmer than mixed adult-and-kid practices. New patients can usually be fit into a first-cleaning visit within a couple of weeks rather than long backlogs.

Oso Pediatric Dentistry on West Gonzales Road in the Fremont North neighborhood is a north Oxnard pediatric dental practice providing cleanings, sealants, fillings, and child-focused emergency care for area kids.

Great office. I’ve been taking my 5 year old since she was a baby. The doctor made me feel comfortable when she had her treatment done. Best experience.

This is literally the absolute worst place to take your child. If you love your child, if you want to avoid major trauma, please I beg you to not bring your child here. They took teeth out of my child’s mouth that did not need to come out. Completely healthy teeth that we had just discussed with the dentist a few weeks prior. My child told me he felt everything and was trying to get out of the chair because he was in so much pain and terrified. They did not let me in the room with my child. And now I know the reason. When confronted, the staff said “well this is just how we run things. The dentists make decisions”. They wheeled him out the back door like some Area 51 experiment. Drugged up, with no gauze in his mouth. He was a bloody mess and continued to bleed. MIND YOU THEY EXTRACTED 4 TEETH WITHOUT MY KNOWING. No after care paperwork, I had to go inside and demand gauze for him so he’d stop bleeding. They asked us to be there at 6am. We didn’t get seen until 12pm. If you have any love for your child for the love of god do not take them here.

We love Beach Town Kids Dental. We have used them for years for both of our kids, 8 and 10. They are so good at relaxing kids and putting them at ease. No anxiety whatsoever. All of the staff is super friendly, and both Dr Bedilo and Dr Elana are very good. They take the time to answer questions and explain the treatment plan. I highly recommend them!
