About Oxnard Dental

Oxnard Dental is a general-dentistry practice on North Oxnard Boulevard in the Wilson neighborhood, serving the north-central Oxnard residential corridors that run between downtown and the 101 freeway. Run as a named-owner family-dental setup rather than a chain location, the office handles routine and restorative care for households across the area on a long-term recall basis. The clinic covers the standard generalist scope in-house, which suits Wilson-area families who'd rather keep most of their care at one practice instead of rotating through chain franchises across the city.

Patients searching for routine dental care in Oxnard, a general dentist near them in Oxnard, or a family dental practice in Oxnard can find a complete general-dentistry program here, including cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, and root canal therapy, alongside basic extractions, gum-disease treatment, and pediatric exams on a coordinated family schedule. Teeth whitening is available for cosmetic touch-ups, and emergency visits for established patients are usually fit in same-week instead of referred to separate urgent-care offices.

If you live in Wilson, South Bank, or the broader north-central Oxnard residential pockets and want a North Oxnard Boulevard family dentist that's a short drive rather than a cross-town trip, this is a sensible long-term starting point for the household.

Pricing here lands in the standard range for an established north-central Oxnard general practice — most major insurance plans are accepted, written treatment estimates are provided before any procedure begins, and the office leans toward conservative care rather than aggressive upsell. New-patient intake typically fits into a first-cleaning slot within a couple of weeks. For north-central Oxnard families anchoring their dental care, this practice belongs on the shortlist of established North Oxnard Boulevard generalists serving long-term local households. New-patient intake usually fits into a first-cleaning slot within a couple of weeks, and emergency visits for established patients are typically handled same-week rather than referred to separate urgent-care offices.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experiences at Oxnard Dental Group, especially with the dental doctor and front desk manager, Odalis. My family and I have been patients here since we were toddlers, even at their previous location, so this was upsetting. On Nov 28, the dental clinic explained that Medi-Cal does not cover broken teeth and only covers cavities and fillings, which resulted in me paying $50 for a “desensitizing resin” to repair a tooth (something unnecessary to use that many doctors do not use). On Jan 27, 2026, my younger sister came in for a cleaning and needed two cavities filled, yet we were suddenly told it would be $50 per tooth, despite being told cavities are covered. The inconsistency was frustrating. The doctor was not flexible and did not offer alternatives or referrals until after I paid. Odalis was rude and dismissive when I asked questions, telling the doctor “come explain to her” with attitude. When I later called to say we’d be switching to a more Medi-Cal-accommodating provider, Odalis said “Perfect!” and hung up. After years of loyalty, this treatment was disappointing. Be cautious, ask questions, and get clear explanations of all charges before treatment.

All they care about is money they refused to give me general cleaning which is what I’m paying for because they forcefully wanted me to do the deep cleaning. What a great healthcare provider.

Really nice office, my experience was not. Recently had my wisdom teeth removed, the process was very rushed as they were behind on schedule, really bad pain afterwards, I wasn’t given any pain medication just probiotics and they mentioned they couldn’t do anything after calling in regards. Hope for this not to happen to anyone else.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming, from the front office staff to the dental assistants in the back. The doctor was very patient and helpful when answering my questions and concerns. The assistants also provided good aftercare and showed a lot of consideration. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a hard time getting an appointment here because this is one of the only places that takes CenCal for like 100 miles, but once I got in everything was amazing. I had my wisdom teeth removed, and I had 2 impacted teeth. I had an IV sedation I believe, and it took them a few pokes (maybe 3-4) to get it in a comfortable and safe position, but I did not mind because they were ensuring my safety for being asleep. The surgery went really well, and prior to the surgery I was informed of what I should expect, and what I should do. I did not have any complications, and I am about 3 weeks post op and doing great! I did have to do a little bit of research on how to clean out the holes, but they handed me a paper that had a lot of information that helped me out. I had a great experience once I was in the office, and appreciate that the surgery was done well!
