About Seuss Pediatric Dentistry

Seuss Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dental practice on East Raintree Drive in the Raintree Office Park of North Scottsdale, run as an independent named-owner pediatric office. The "Seuss" naming reflects the kid-themed environment built around making dental visits feel less clinical for nervous children, with the orientation toward children's literature framing extending to the practice's overall vibe. The office covers the standard pediatric scope in-house with most appointments being routine recall visits for existing North Scottsdale families.

Parents searching for a pediatric dentist in Scottsdale for special needs children, a children's dentist in Scottsdale accepting Medicaid, or an emergency child dentist in Scottsdale, AZ can find a complete pediatric program here, including cleanings, dental sealants and fluoride, restorative fillings, and pediatric emergency care for kids — all handled within a kid-themed environment. The independent setup keeps continuity of pediatric provider across recall visits rather than rotating through chain staffing.

If you've got a kid heading into a first dental visit or a school-age kid who's been nervous about previous cleanings and you want a North Scottsdale pediatric office that leans heavily into kid-themed comfort framing, Seuss Pediatric Dentistry is a sensible Raintree starting point.

Cost-wise, Seuss Pediatric Dentistry runs in the standard range for a North Scottsdale pediatric practice — most major insurance plans are accepted including pediatric and Medicaid coverage typical for Arizona pediatric care, treatment estimates for restorative work are walked through with parents before any procedure begins, and the named-owner setup keeps continuity of provider. Office hours typically include after-school appointment slots that fit kid schedules. For North Scottsdale families anchoring their children's dental care, this practice belongs on the shortlist of established Raintree Drive pediatric offices. The pediatric-only environment is set up to make first dental visits easier for nervous kids, and after-school appointment slots fit the typical school-age recall pattern across the week.

Seuss Pediatric Dentistry on East Raintree Drive in the Raintree Office Park is a North Scottsdale pediatric dental practice providing cleanings, sealants, fillings, and child-focused emergency care for area families.

Viviana gave me an interactive experience during my cleaning and did a very thorough job! Dr. Hooman was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding dental hygiene. Would definitely recommend!

We used to go to this place until they changed dentist. We loved it when Dr Kerr was there. The new dentist Dr. Hooman's provided incorrect diagnosis. This seemed pretty sketchy because all of a sudden there were these major issues of concern. So we went and got a second opinion. Turns out he was just trying to make to scam us with extra procedures. Big red flag. No longer a trustworthy establishment to us.

The staff was amazing with our 18 month old and with us as first time parents bringing their child to the dentist. The waiting area is built for kids and keeps them entertained while you wait for your appointment. The dental hygienist did a phenomenal job making the experience fun and engaging for our daughter. She did amazing at her first dentist appointment and the hygienist was a huge contributing factor in that. Meanwhile, they were equally great with us as parents. We had an issue with our insurance and they took the time to walk us through and explain everything. They answered all our questions thoroughly and never rushed us or made us feel like we were asking dumb questions. Overall, this was a great experience for the family and I'm grateful our daughter enjoyed her first experience at the dentist!

As a parent, finding a dentist your child actually enjoys is rare but Seuss Pediatrics made it happen! My 2 year old loved their fun, kid friendly office and adorable decorations. Andrew, the office manager, made insurance a breeze and took all the stress away. Tay and Bella were so gentle and sweet, treating my little one with so much care. And Dr. Hooman was incredible patient, kind, and even sang songs that made my son giggle through his visit! We left with big smiles and happy hearts. I’m so grateful we found this office and will definitely keep coming back!

I’ve been a loyal patient at this dental office for nearly six years, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. My daughter’s appointment time was changed without anyone checking with me first, then changed back after I reached out — which felt disorganized and unprofessional. During her x-rays, I was asked to stand behind the lead wall while my daughter wasn’t given a lead vest, which didn’t sit right with me. The cleaning that followed lasted only a few minutes and was done by an assistant rather than a hygienist. When I brought up my concerns, they were dismissed instead of addressed thoughtfully. It truly felt rushed and below the level of care we’ve come to expect over the years. Unfortunately, the office just hasn’t been the same since Dr. Kerr left the practice.
